Het instrument heeft het grootste rode of groene digitale display in een 1/32 DIN-verpakking.
Naast het rode of groene display profiteert de N2300 van drie extra meerkleurige LED’s om proces-, alarm- en configuratiestatussen aan te geven.
De grote, voelbare, rubberen toetsen bieden een meer praktische menselijke interface die wordt aangevuld met een speciaal ontwikkeld handsfree PID-afstemalgoritme, Easy-Tune, dat de bediening voortdurend controleert en verbetert.
Als alternatief kan het instrument handmatig worden verfijnd voor een specifieke toepassing. De N2300-indicator heeft maximaal twee uitgangen (relais of solid-state driver) voor alarm. De controllerversie kan een extra relais of seriële RS232-communicatie hebben.
